ML-KIT includes the necessary mixing tools, acetone, instructions and chemicals to make 40 grams of pyrogen. This is enough pyrogen to make an estimated 900 non-folded ML-12 electric matches at a cost to you of just under $0.95 a piece! This highly reliable electric match is great for all your motor clustering needs, no more need for thermolite!

Because of our new formulated mixture this electric match will reliably fire every time even on the most humid of days. Once ignited the pyrogen burns for approximately one second at a temperature around 5,400 degrees Fahrenheit! Amperage requirement for successful ignition is 5 amps at 12 volts DC per igniter. Caution: if you are going to ignite a cluster of motors make sure the launching system can instantly deliver enough amperage.

Each match ohms out at 0.8 ohm (+) or (-) 0.2 of ohm, no guess work here, unlike some other brands.

ML-48 for J - K composite motors and up
(recommend at least a double fold)

ML-72 for M - P composite motors and up
(recommend at least a triple fold)

For second stage ignition we recommend using the Transolve T2 two-channel timer. This timer can handle up to 10 amps.
