Rocketflite Frequently Asked Questions

I've lost the instructions for dipping matches, can I get a new copy?
YES. The instruction sheet is available for download here in Adobe Acrobat format (.pdf) or Rich Text Format (.rtf.)

How long is the shelf life of your pyrogen once its mixed?
Several years. However, never attempt to re-wet dried pyrogen. Store in the airtight container the pyrogen came in to prevent the pyrogen from drying out.

Once mixed does the ML-KIT require a LEUP?
Not sure. The ATF does require non-exempt explosives to be stored in an approved magazine.

Do I need an ATF manufacturers permit to make my own igniters?
No, a license or permit is not required to manufacture explosive materials (including propellant, igniters, etc.) for one's own use. A person manufacturing for his/her own use is, however, required to store non-exempt explosive materials in an approved storage magazine. Additionally, a permit is required if a person wishes to transport non-exempt explosive materials, and a license is required if a person wishes to engage in the business of selling explosive materials that he/she manufactures.
